1. Ask us to delete your data
Anyone can ask us to delete their personal data. To make a request:
- Email info@aventrixdigital.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Tell us who you are. If you have an account, send the request from your account email and include your workspace name. If you connected a WhatsApp Business Account, include its phone number. If you are a contact who received messages from a business, include your phone number with country code and, if you know it, the business’s name.
- We confirm receipt within 5 business days and may ask you to verify that the data is yours before we delete it.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you a confirmation with a reference number.
2. Remove the app from Facebook
If you connected Aventrix Connect with Facebook Login for Business, you can remove its access to your Facebook data at any time:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Select Business integrations (under “Permissions”). If you signed in with a personal Facebook login, check Apps and websites too.
- Find Aventrix Connect and select Remove.
- Tick the option to delete posts, photos and videos the app may have published, then confirm.
This stops us from accessing your Facebook and WhatsApp Business data. Removing the app does not by itself delete data we already hold, so also email info@aventrixdigital.com as described above if you want it erased. Business admins can also remove access in Meta Business Suite under Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps.
3. Delete data inside the Service
- Workspace users can delete individual contacts, lists, templates, media and campaigns at any time.
- Administrators can disconnect the WhatsApp Business Account, which deletes its stored access token.
- To close a whole workspace and erase everything in it, the workspace owner emails info@aventrixdigital.com.
4. Stop receiving WhatsApp messages
If a business that uses Aventrix Connect is messaging you, reply STOP in the WhatsApp chat. Your number is added to a suppression list straight away and the business can no longer message you through the Service. You can also block the business in WhatsApp.
5. What we delete and what we keep
When we complete a deletion request we permanently erase:
- your account profile, sign-in details and preferences;
- Meta identifiers and access tokens for connected WhatsApp Business Accounts;
- contacts, messages, media, templates and campaigns in a closed workspace, or the contact record and message history for a contact’s phone number.
We keep only what we must:
- billing and transaction records that tax and accounting law require us to keep;
- an opt-out record (phone number and date) if you asked not to be messaged, so the opt-out keeps working;
- backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.
Messages already delivered to WhatsApp are also held by Meta under its own policies, and businesses you messaged keep their own copies. See our Privacy Policy for full retention periods.
